Life Membership for Alice McNatty
Alice McNatty has served 12 years on the NZBI Executive Committee, first as secretary, then president, and then past president. She served as president from 2019 - 2021 and during this time led the NZBI through a dynamic time in biosecurity, including the Mycoplasma bovis eradication programme, increases in funding for biosecurity work through the Jobs for Nature funding, and the Covid-19 pandemic. Alice’s leadership guided the NBZI through new ways of sharing information, such as an online NETS and AGM in 2021. Throughout these 12 years on the Executive Committee, she invested her time, energy, and passion to help the NZBI and its members succeed.
A Life Membership is an acknowledgement of a significant and sustained contribution to the Institute at national level.
