NETS2020: Changing Landscapes (cancelled due to Covid-19)

Mihi mai, karanga mai!

The New Zealand Biosecurity Institute (NZBI) is pleased to announce that its next annual national education and training seminar (NETS) will be held at Chateau on the Park, Christchurch, from 29–31 July 2020.

This three-day seminar provides a multi-sectoral and multi-agency forum for discussion and debate on how we can collectively minimise the risk of biosecurity threats to New Zealand. NETS2020 is expected to attract up to 250 delegates from all over New Zealand.

Speakers will cover a broad spectrum, from international and national experts, to people working at the coalface. The theme for NETS2020 is “Changing Landscapes”.

NETS2019: He waka eke noa – All Hands on Deck

Trinity Wharf, Tauranga

Mihi mai, karanga mai!

The New Zealand Biosecurity Institute (NZBI) is pleased to announce that its next annual national education and training seminar (NETS) will be held at Trinity Wharf, Tauranga, from 24-26 July 2019.

This three-day seminar provides a multi-sectoral and multi-agency forum for discussion and debate on how we can collectively minimise the risk of biosecurity threats to New Zealand. NETS2019 is expected to attract up to 250 delegates from all over New Zealand.

Speakers will cover a broad spectrum, from international and national experts, to people working at the coalface. The theme for NETS2019, “He waka eke noa – All Hands on Deck”, recognises the Tauranga Moana Biosecurity Capital initiative, and the need to encourage and support further joint initiatives of this sort throughout New Zealand.
