Our Mission
"Working together to ensure New Zealand is protected from the adverse impacts of invasive species."
Who are we?
We are an incorporated society with membership open to anyone interested in biosecurity issues. We organise activities on a local and national basis and produce a quarterly magazine.
Our aims are to:
Raise awareness of the Institute and biosecurity issues;
Encourage the development and application of best practice in biosecurity;
Connect people and organisations to share knowledge; and
Create opportunities for professional development of members.
Application for membership is open to all. Application can be made online or in writing. Subscriptions are still only NZ$30 per year (if paid promptly). Click on the Join Us tab above for details.
