NETS2010 Call for Papers

Know How, Can Do, Job Done!

Know How, Can Do, Job Done!

NETS2010, 21-23 July, Marlborough Convention Centre, Blenheim

CALL FOR PAPERS – deadline now extended to 12 February 2010

Thank you very much to those who have already submitted abstracts, it is much appreciated.  We have had a few requests today for extensions to the deadline, as some folk who need to co-author/sign off on them haven’t been available, so if anyone still wants to get an abstract in, you have until the 12 February to do so.

A quick reminder of what we are after:  We are looking for 15 minute presentations that fit in with the ‘know how, can do, job done’ theme of NETS2010.  Whether you are involved in animal pests, weeds, biocontrol, marine biosecurity, insect invaders, community outreach or other biosecurity related issues, if you have something that you think would be of interest to others attending NETS2010, please submit your abstract.  There is no specific format (font/spacing etc) for abstracts, as they will be formatted for the handbook at this end.  As far as length goes – half to three quarters of an A4 page is sufficient!

Poster paper abstracts are also encouraged: there will not be a separate call for these.

Please send abstracts to Carolyn Lewis, NETS2010 Conference Organiser, on cl.sb@xtra.co.nz.
